Providing support and care to clients in their own home from 7AM to 10PM seven days a week. They also provide night care in certain circumstances.
Each carer is fully qualified and Oxfordshire County Council Support With Confidence approved. Details of which can be found at www.oacp.org.uk. (Oxfordshire Association of care providers).
Each carer is DBS police checked and carry public liability insurance.
The carer will have knowledge of your needs when they arrive at your home.
Working in partnership with you to provide the help you have been assessed for.
Respond to client needs and preferences and encourage you to take control over the assistance you receive. Encouraging you to make decisions and giving you information to make informed choices. Helping you achieve and sustain the maximum possible of independence.
With your direction ensure continuity of care and that your calls are covered every step of the way and be prepared for emergencies.
Ensure client confidentiality and only share information when they have your permission or in exceptional circumstances where there is a legal requirement to protect you or other people from serious harm.
Treat you fairly on the basis of need and not discriminate against you on the basis of age, gender, race. Religion, disability or sexual orientation. Making sure that you feel able to complain about the standard of service should ever the need arise.
Be reliable, timely, flexible and non intrusive.
Supply their own supplies i.e. gloves, aprons etc and provide a communications book.
All self employed carers are legally responsible for paying their own tax and N.I. Due to H.M.R.C.
Carers also provide for their own Holiday pay, sick pay and Pension.
